At New Birth we believe that people need more than a Bible and a prayer. Apart from their spiritual needs, people must feel love in tangible ways. They need to be visited in prison, provided with food, medicine, and counseling. The victims of natural and man-made disasters need shelter and comfort. The abused need to be rescued and nurtured. The illiterate need to be taught. Children need help with home work. Youth need to be prepared for the world of work etc. etc.
